We are entering the last three weeks. So we have to finish the last three video projects and the school year is done. I know that some of you are struggling with video and not wanting to be in the front of the camera, but at times you just have to get over the nerves and take that first step in front of the camera to build your confidence. You will be able to better empathize with your actors/talent when they are struggling since having been in front of the camera.

Before June 19th I want you to gather all the Footage needed for the last three projects. I will upload a the next two assignments over the next two days. So you can start thinking of what and how you will shoot.

Over the next two days I will also upload tutorial videos using Adobe Premiere if you are using your Adobe account on a desktop, Imovie app if you are on your Iphone, I do not have an android app so I will direct you to a youtube video. Wevideo if you are on the chromebook.

***Feel free to find a youtube video on using a video editing app you are comfortable using. I will upload videos tomorrow.

Gather footage for a commercial for something you find in your fridge, garage or laundry room. Select one of the three options given or find some other product that interest you. Then think of a minimum of 3 related items which will help sell that product and support the idea you are promoting.

Narration is optional, but some of you have great radio voices so knock yourself who knows you . might become the voice of the guy who narrates 90 percent of the movie trailers, "In a land far away...."

You will need a music track. Find a copyright free song to go with the mood of your commercial. Here are some sites you can use which provide copyright free music. There are several other sites but these will hopefully get you going.

Fridge examples: Sauces, something in a can, glass or plastic jar, do not worry about labels.

Garage examples: Anti-freeze or other products for a car. Tools, or sporting goods.

Laundry examples: Detergent, soap, laundry sheets, ironing.

Here is an example of one commercial from a videographer I follow, he also describes how he shot it. He uses a lot of close up shots like you guys who submitted great close ups of popcorn, steaks, drawing, watering, biking, cooking, doing homework, playing cards, playing video games, tying shoes, car wash, washing dog, skateboarding just to name a few.
