CNC Research Project

In Google Drive Create a Folder called Last-Name_Arc30-2021and share it with me. Then inside that folder create a Google Doc and name it "CNC"a nd answer the following questions and gather images so you can see the possibilities of this manufacturing process.

What is CNC?

What are 5 advantages of CNC machining.

Find at least 5 images of CNC joinery. (you will be creating cad drawings for 5 joints)

Find 15 Examples of different CNC designs.

What is the most common CAD file type used with CNC machines?

Polylines or lines which of the two is better for CNC software?

Find a V-Carve software video so you can get a glimpse into how tool paths are generated from CAD drawings.

The file type we are going to export out of V-Carve so we can cut it out on the CNC router is .mmg
